Journal Entry September 11th/12th

Been fairly busy as of late. Spent most of my time bouncing from Fenton, Warren, SE Ohio and now back to Baldwin. Getting out and scouting sections of river I'm taking clients out on. Seems as though there very good numbers of fish holding from Upper to Wallhalla. Every hole I stop in must have decent numbers. I pop a fish almost immediately in everyone I stop in. A couple of holes have fish stacked out onto the sand. They look like they are in great shape and the ones I have hooked up with are big and strong. This is very good news. Our clients should be in for a great season. I see on the weather that there is substancial amounts of rain heading this way. I do hope we get some of that rain to bring up water levels. I also noticed that there are many other guides down in this section. I am sure their clients are doing well. Hard to not do well when you are C&D in these conditions. My hunch was correct. Always a good feeling when your on. Feel good about the next few weeks. First group are coming in from Chicago. Long time clients of John. First time I'm going to meet them. I am ready. Getting pumped up......

Now who the hell would give a schlep like you a heads up on where to go...better give him a heads up when the Clint heats up.
